Heather Wilson – A New Yorker and graduate of Homer High School, Wilson would go on to compete at the University of Connecticut where she was a multiple time All-American as a Husky. After graduating she joined the New Jersey*New York TrackClub and has run 4:07 for 1500m. At the beginning of August she broke the illustrious 4:30 barrier, with a 4:29 mile at the Sir Walter Miler in Raleigh, NC. @heathawilson
Amanda Eccleston – This 4:29 miler graduated from Hillsdale College in Michigan before heading to the University of Michigan to do her graduate work in Public Health. Her bests are an impressive 4:09 and 4:31, and she is running professionally now for Hoka One One and trans in Oregon with Team Run Eugene. @CL_Browning
Heather Kampf is a Minnesotan through and through. Having grown up in Inner Grove Heights, she would go onto the University of Minnesota before now running for Asics as a member of Team USA Minnesota to be coached by Dennis Barker. She has fantastic range, and is one of the most consistent women in professional track and field. In the past few years she has affectionately been named “Queen of the Roads” as she has a fantastic record in road miles. She has run 4:04 for 1500m and 4:30 for the mile. @HeatherRaeKampf
Laura Nagel hails from Napier, New Zealand, but came to the states to run for Providence College where she just finished her final season. He was a 3-time NYS Champion while a prep at Half Hollow Hills West, and he competed collegiately at Columbia University where he would set the American Collegiate Record at 1500m. This past May he ran the 1200 leg for the United States that would win gold at the World Relays and set the World Record. @theRealMerb
Ford Palmer-In the past year Palmer has set a personal best in the 800/1500/Mile/3000. His 3:36 1500m and 3:56 Mile rank him among the best in the country, as he finished in 5th place at the 2014 US Championships for 1500m. He is originally from Smithville, NJ and attended Monmouth University, but now trains alongside Kyle as a member of the New Jersey*New York Track Club. @GoFordPalmer
Riley Masters-In addition to being quite the 5k runner, holding a best of 13:17 in the event, the Maine native has some versatility. He has run as fast as 3:36 for 1500m and 3:56 for the mile. One of the most consistent runners on the professional scene, he has broken 4-minutes for a mile on 12 different occasions. Riley graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and now trains in Seattle, Washington as a member of the Brooks Beasts. @riley_masters
Cristian Soratos– Fresh out of college at Montana State University, he burst onto the scene this year with a 10-second personal best to run a 3:55 mile indoors. He would go on to finish 2nd at NCAAs that season where he ran one of the gutsiest races in collegiate history, dropping a 53.3 second 400 from 600 to 1000m into the race. He is originally from Salinas, CA and is now sponsored by Adidas. @soratos_miler
Peter Callahan joins us from Evanston, Illinois where he won multiple state championships and a high school best of 4:05 for the mile. He would continue on to Princeton University where he would break 4-minutes in the mile, and anchor the national championship DMR in 2013. He would finish his eligibility and attend graduate school at the University of New Mexico. He has had a strong summer of setting a personal best in Belgium with a 3:37 1500m, and then the Flotrack Throwdown in 3:58. @ptcallahan
David Torrence attended Loyola High School before attending Cal Berkeley where his career would continue to flourish with a 3:58 mile. But steady improvements each year have led to a fantastic professional career that include a World Record in the Indoor 4 x 800, and American Record in the Indoor 1k and a silver medal at the Pan Am Games. He has run 1:45.1/2:16/3:33/3:52/7:40/13:16 and now represents Hoka One One and is being coached by John Cooke. @David_Torrence
Duncan Phillips made the rare move of growing up in College Station, TX before then attending the University of Arkansas to compete collegiately. He holds bests of 1:47 at 800m,3:39 at 1500m, and 3:56 for the mile. He now lives in Austin, TX where he trains alongside Leo Manzano and is coached by John Hayes. @duncanphillips
Jack Bolas grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and his talents took him to the University of Wisconsin where he would collect numerous All-American certificates. He is now running for the New Jersey*New York Track Club under famed coach, Frank Gagliano, and he lives in High Bridge, NJ. He has run 1:47 for 800m, 3:35 for 1500m, and 3:57 for the mile. @jackbolas87
Garrett Heath was born in Winona, Minnesota so it’s no wonder that he grew up as a competitive cross-country skier. But when he found track, he immediately began winning. He was a 6-time state champion, and 2-time Footlocker Finalist. He moved on to run for Stanford University where he would capture 9 All-American awards. He now lives in Seattle, WA and trains under coach Danny Mackey, and runs for the Brooks Beasts. @_garrettheath
Daniel Winn is a Portland, OR native, and so it would make sense that he would head south to Eugene and represent the University of Oregon. There he would make steady improvements under coach Andy Powell, and by senior year he had run 3:57 for the mile, which was an indoor school record [which lasted 90 minutes]. This summer, immediately after graduation, he would go on to run 3:37 for 1500m, finish 7th at the US Championships at 1500m, and place second for the USA at the NACAC Championships. @danielwinn
Brandon Hudgins from Boone, North Carolina ran Appalachian State, graduating in 2011. His 1500m personal record is 3:42.59 despite battling Wegener’s Granulomatosis, a rare autoimmune disease. He recently clocked a sub 4 mile at the “Sir Walter Miler” meet in his home state of North Carolina.
